Provision of the website and creation of log files
Each time our website is called up, the web server logs access to elements (e.g. an HTML file or an image) of the same. Failed or denied accesses (e.g. due to password protection) are also noted. The server writes the following information to a log file:
- information about the browser type and the version used
- the IP address of the user (anonymised)
- date and time of access
- accessed element (website, image)
- access status/HTTP status code
- amount of data transferred
- websites from which the user's system accesses our website
- websites accessed by the user's system via our website
In the log files, the host name or IP address of the client accessing the website is anonymised. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user.
The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and the log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
The storage in log files takes place in order to ensure the functionality of the website. It is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Therefore, there is no possibility for the user to object. In addition, we use the data to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.
Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies that do not store or process any personal data.
A specific cookie that we set is used to store your consent to the playback of videos if you give it (consent). This is a session cookie that expires automatically at the end of your session.
On some pages we embed videos via YouTube. You must actively agree to this in order to view the videos. There is a button on the relevant pages that you can use to give your consent. As long as you do not give your consent (do not click the button), no connection to YouTube will be established and no data will be transmitted to YouTube.
If you give your consent, a connection to YouTube will be established. We use the no-cookie API for this purpose. This prevents YouTube from setting a tracking cookie. Nevertheless, information about your visit is transmitted to YouTube. We have no influence on this process and the further processing of your data by YouTube.
If you give your consent, this information is stored in a session cookie.

You can object to the storage of your personal data at any time. To do so, simply write us an e-mail. All personal data stored in the course of contacting us will be deleted in this case.
